Dr. Deborahlise Mota, (aka Dr. Deb), DTCM, LAc has been a clinical herbalist and acupuncturist for over 20 years.  After her undergrad in Environmental Policy and Agroecology at UCSC, she started apprenticing with herbalists throughout North and South America.

 

With her adoration for herbal medicine, she decided to study Chinese Medicine to advance both her knowledge and her pharmacy.  Already a licensed massage therapist, Deborahlise quickly adapted to acupuncture meridian therapy for its potency and impressive results.

 

Dr. Deborahlise's insatiable thirst for knowledge led her to complete advanced training in Functional Medicine, Neutragenomics, Women's Hormone Health, Ayurveda, Phytotherapy, Somatic Therapy, and a doctorate in Post Traumatic Growth with Indigenous Medicines.

 

Dr. Deborahllise practiced as a DOM in New Mexico for over 14 years and then moved her practice to Colorado to serve as the Integrative Medicine Specialist within a freestanding birth center for the last 7 years.  She has recently moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to family and to enjoy beautiful California with her husband, teenage daughters, dog, and 2 cats.
